Neighbor Project - 2006 -Chicago, IL

For this project I asked 30-100 residents of the Lakeview East area to put the sign "neighbor" in their window. Gentrification, new development, and personal security have become buzzwords around the changing neighborhoods of Chicago. "Neighbor" is a public installation in the 44/46 Ward that highlights the physical nature of "community," and the importance of the people that live next door.
